Africa is indeed making a leap of integration to the global scene. On 27th February 2019, H.E President Paul Kagame opened the 4th Aviation Africa Summit and exhibition in Kigali Rwanda under the theme “flying forward together-developing partnerships for future skies.”
Our company was honoured to be among the participants, a great opportunity that enabled us to showcase our services at the exhibition, we managed to share with guests about our Unmanned Aerial vehicles as applied to support agriculture, environment, photography, videography, construction among others. Our booth attracted many visitors who were curious to know how the small drones are operated for crop spraying, land mapping, videography along other issues affecting citizens.
Ingabire Mamy the managing director of Charis UAS said, “The summit has opened doors of opportunities for us to provide this services in our country and last year we managed to open a new office in Ivory Coast. This is really a great place to showcase that drone technology can be used to offer great solutions to tackle various challenges that we have in Africa”
This was Charis UAS second attendance in the Aviation Africa summit since the first one that was held in Kigali back in 2017. The two day summit attracted more than 800 delegates with 100 global aviation companies exhibiting their services on the sidelines of this event.
