He was the first internationally certified drone pilot in Rwanda. He has been certified and trained from the EUROUSC organization in Europe. He has extensive experience in flying, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing multirotor. He is currently undergoing training in UAV photogrammetry and precision farming. He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Kigali Institute of Technology (K.I.S.T).
A resourceful professional with extensive experience in project management, Monitoring and Evaluation as well as in project communication. Having a background in science, she has been a great asset in sharing her knowledge. She holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Life Sciences from Midrand University in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He has vast experience in Electrical Engineering, R&D, and UAVs as he deployed the first Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in Rwanda. He also gave extensive presentations all over the country about UAV designs and its various applications. He is considered as the pioneer of UAVs and their application in human development in Rwanda. Eric holds both a Masters and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
With More than 40 Years of experience in The Aviation Sector, Jean Bosco brings invaluable Expertise to Charis; He started his career in Aircraft Maintenance and Airspace Radio Navigation,From there he became a IATA certified Quality,Safety and Security Management Officer. He holds Multiple Certificates among Which IOA-Auditor Trainng Course,Aircraft Accident Investigation. We are Honored To Have Him in Our Team.

Charis UAS in partnership with CTA and regional center for integrated development (RCID ltd), Have started a Monitoring and diagnosis project on the impact of Nitrogen fertilizer on Wheat.
In order to upscale the use of drones in generating advice for farmers growing wheat in rwanda.
ARINOV’s diagnostic diagnosis model for nitrogen fertilization needs to be calibrated to local circumstances.

We have the FireFLy 6 Prone drone capable of covering extensions of up to 100 Hectar in a single flight with an accuracy of less than 5cm by making aerial photographs properly overlapped. These images can be transformed into orthophotos and orthomosaics (maps) and 3D elevation models with accuracy. In addition to the mapping functions thanks to its possibility of video can be used in video surveillance functions of difficult access terrains.

The synergy between the FireFly 6 Pro drone and the Post flight Terra 3D photo restitution software, developed by the company Pix4D, allows the processed complex of the images obtained, generating an infinity of data in different formats based on photogrammetric techniques.
Charis Uas uses the Parrot drone specialized for the agricultural sector, obtains aerial data by means of cameras of visible spectrum, of infrared spectrum, thermal, etc. The applications in the field of Agriculture are innumerable, making the drone an essential tool for the so-called Precision Agriculture providing an exceptional aerial observation platform that provides many useful data.
