UNEMPLOYMENT IN RWANDA
According to the National Institute of Statistics Rwanda, as of August 2019, unemployment in the country stands at 16%. Considering the state of the global economy today, the trajectory of employment is unpredictable at best. The government of Rwanda has championed multiple programs and incentives to assist in improving the figure across the country. However, it is also up to Rwanda’s private sector to ensure that Rwanda’s young workforce is developed.
TAPPING INTO RWANDA’S ICT POTENTIAL
To contribute to the growth of Rwanda, Charis UAS has dedicated itself to employing the promising youth population. In particular, we foster the growth of those who operate in the ICT sector. In fact, individuals who specialize in IT, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering make up 95% of our permanent staff.
In addition to this, we offer training to local Rwandans to become professional pilots. Our certified pilots clock several hours of flight before operating drones on commissioned projects.
Rwanda continues to be one of the fastest growing African countries in the ICT sector which manifests itself in Charis UAS’s operations. We use cutting edge technology to bring forth solutions to different industries including agriculture, health, mining, and more.
